The YEIDA Residential Plot Scheme 2026 was launched in April. An official said the Authority received 110,034 applications for 973 plots, which works out to 113 applicants per plot.
“This shows that the demand for land near the airport is surging like never before. In addition to this, 140 applications were rejected for applying twice for the same scheme, while 23 applicants later surrendered their applications,” Shailendra Bhatia, Additional Chief Executive Officer, YEIDA said.
The official said that the draw was held at the India Expo Center and Mart in Greater Noida at 10 am. The draw was conducted manually as school students picked up slips, which were placed in separate drums labelled with the names of eligible applicants in each category.
The allotment procedure for the YEIDA Scheme 2026, launched in April, was video-recorded, photographed, and was broadcasted live. The three retired judges from Allahabad High Court were the observers along with the allotment committee at the allotment process.
Under the YEIDA Scheme 2026, maximum applications were recorded for 200 sq mtr plots. The figure stood at 57,620 applications for 481 plots, followed by 48,920 applications for 162 sqm plots.

The official informed that all plots are located in Sector 15-C, 18, and 24.
Bhatia further said, “YEIDA has successfully allotted 937 plots. The rise in demand for residential plots shows the area is becoming an economic and industrial hub as more and more people seek residential plots. Since the demand is high, we plan to launch another residential scheme in the coming days.”
